Preparing For Change

Change is going to happen whether we like it or not, whether we are ready for it or not. The predictability of what that change will mean to you or the organisation is where the somewhat elusive black art of predicting the future strategy gets practiced.
We have been speaking with a few of our Public Sector clients and preparing for change resides very high on their agenda. This next period of financial constraint, which most believe will be between 3-5 years, will be the making or breaking in how they deliver the crucial services and support to their customer base.
Many are being very proactive in ensuring that the leadership teams are robust and cohesive. The areas of critical expertise and understanding of what's needed are fully supported. We have been fortunate to have contributed to helping leaders understand what Talent they have and what's needed to drive the right kind of performance forward.
We identified a common thread that ran through these discussions. If you are able to gain an awareness of the resource you have, then you can map that talent across to what the 'job' requires to perform, and during these challenging times ahead, I think we are all going to benefit from such an approach.
Thanks for your continued support.
