IMX Challenge Winners 2011

The Open venue at Turnberry saw the inaugural IMX Challenge Cup, a golfing event designed to help companies share best practice and allow young golfing talent to find potential support and sponsors from Scottish industry.

The event was attended by 17 teams who delivered not only excellent golfing skills throughout the day but made good use of networking their respective talents in a mutually beneficial way. The largest two firms, Clyde Union owned by Jim McColl and The NVT Group by Stephen Park Brown contributed to the event which saw excellent play, prizes and opportunity to meet other business owners.

The chosen charity was The Teddy Bear Foundation, ran by husband & wife team Barry & Jenny Chuwen. Funds were raised as was awareness and we hope to surpass this year’s fundraising at the next event.

The winners of the event received a replica of the Claret Jug and their team name engraved on the trophy.

We are all looking forward to next year’s event on the Ailsa at Turnberry.
