Managing Director and Keynote Speaker Gerry Donaldson addressed the High Potential Leadership of Citi Group in Dublin last week and spoke of the components that truly drive performance in a modern day business.
We have seen the business world changing from the Agricultural through the Industrial and we now very much live and operate within an Intellectual era, a message that lay at the heart of the event.
“It’s not about the ‘widget’ or the ‘product’ per say, it’s about how aware your staff are about themselves, their roles in particular, (as the larger and more complex the organisation, the more fluid and extensive the role becomes,) and the mapping of the talent within the business."
Examples were used across Banking, Finance, Manufacturing and ICT to bring to life, why some of our clients are outperforming their rivals, simply by focusing on the right things. Another key point was "where should you be investing in your People & Change strategy and what should your expected ROI be?"
Your key resource will determine your success and the models of how organisations have achieved this transformation cost effectively were demonstrated.
